Creating related content for your Drupal site can be kind of tricky. Using Views and following a few easy steps can greatly simplify this process.
After doing a brief Google search, I found this post which is just what I needed.
To create a related content block with this method, you’ll need Views 2, and you’ll need to make sure that Taxonomy is enable and set up. Working with the Views module can be pretty complicated, but this tutorial explains exactly what you need to do.
