Amazon Prime: How to Get Your Pre-Order on Release Date

When you pre-order a game, you want it on release date. Part of the benefit of pre-ordering is that you can still play your game on the day it comes out without having to camp out at the store until midnight or make an excursion that day to get it. Why fight the crowds when you don’t have to?

Until recently, this wasn’t a challenge. You could just pre-order your game on Amazon, choose “Release Date Delivery” as your shipping option, and for just 99 cents your game would show up at your doorstep on release date.

Not anymore.

Amazon has made some changes and the 99 cent option isn’t available anymore. Here’s how to get around that.

Of any sports sims, soccer is my favorite. The game is complicated enough to be challenging but simple enough to be elegant, even with high levels of detail and accuracy. While the sports simulation games get more and more complex, it’s harder for other sports games, such as American football, to not be overly complicated. EA does a good job with the FIFA series of keeping the complexity in the sweet spot while still continually increasing the realism of the games.

As the single-player campaigns shrink in duration with each new title, the multiplayer is almost the only thing keeping you interested. Of course everyone expected Treyarch to bank on the proven formula with their newest episode, and we now have video evidence to prove it.
